Delivery Information – FAQ’s

Cost of Delivery

Our delivery charges are based on the size and weight of the products due to their heavy nature. Most items are dispatched on a pallet with a tail lift offload, while smaller boxed items are sent via DPD. The delivery charges are clearly stated at checkout.

Reason for Delivery Charges

The delivery charge covers the cost of processing, packing, checking, and delivering your goods. Each order is processed, selected from stock or fabricated to order, quality checked, and packaged to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. We only charge what is necessary to cover our costs, separate from the product price.

Delivery Locations

We currently deliver to mainland UK only. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland or outside of mainland UK.

Estimated Delivery Time

For stock items, we aim to dispatch within 5 working days, usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Non-stock (bespoke) items have a lead time of 4-5 weeks from the order date. Once the product is fabricated and ready for dispatch, we will notify you. Please note that once an item leaves our facility, any delivery delays are beyond our control. Pallet shipments generally take 2-3 days to arrive from dispatch, and tracking is available.

Safe Place Delivery

If you provide instructions for leaving the item in a safe place or with a neighbour in case you're not home, we will pass this information onto the courier. However, please note that since our deliveries require a signature, we cannot accept responsibility for goods once they have been left.

Our Shipping Partners

DPD:

We ship smaller items such as log stores using DPD. They offer a next-day service (Monday to Friday) and provide various "in-flight" options, including text and email notifications with a 1-hour delivery time slot. Their sophisticated tracking system allows for real-time updates and a live map countdown to the final 15-minute time slot. We recommend using the DPD app for the best delivery experience.

Pallet Delivery - The Pallet Network:

Most of our larger items require pallet delivery. We use The Pallet Network for these deliveries, typically on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Delivery usually takes place within 3 days of dispatch, between 9 am and 5 pm (Monday to Friday). The driver will call ahead 1 hour prior to arrival. Please note that pallet deliveries are dropped kerbside only and do not include a two-man delivery service. Access for a 7.5-tonne lorry (or larger) with a tail lift is necessary for pallet deliveries.
